NEWCOMER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
This is an NCAC community-based initiative committed to advancing the social and economic integration and participation of Nigerian newcomers, immigrants and refugees in Calgary.
About the Program
Through the generous support of donors and program sponsors, NCAC Newcomers Assistance Program provides services that build connections, create opportunities and promote participation in our community to the increasing number of newcomers who call Calgary their home.
A unique community-based initiative created by NCAC that allows members and Non-members to donate new or fairly used unwanted items (clothes, bicycles, toys, tools) to a family that will put them to good use and keep their useful life is extended.
MAJOR UPDATES IN THE NEW VERSION INCLUDES:
1. A student information page on 28
2. Changed some pictures, colors, graphics and re-arranged texts
3. Updated and deleted information as necessary (added some new details like getting your PR Card, Climate incentive, removed covid protocols)
4. Corrected errors from the last edition.
5. Moved acknowledgement of contributors to the last page
